COVER is a ministry of Healing Hope Recovery, created to serve the unhoused and anyone in need or crisis. Our boxes are placed in various locations throughout Clinton County (with plans to expand), where neighbors can drop off or pick up essentials.

Blessing Box
Take what you need, leave what you can — spreading hope and kindness in our community.
The Blessing Box is a ministry of Healing Hope Recovery, created to serve the unhoused and anyone in need or crisis. Our boxes are placed in various locations throughout Clinton County (with plans to expand), where neighbors can drop off or pick up essentials like:
- Blankets & warm clothing
- Winter gear
- Hygiene products
- Nonperishable food
- Other everyday necessities
Important Guidelines
- Respect others and their property.
- Take only what you need so that others may be helped too.
- Keep the area clean
- Do not block the alley.
- Keep voices and noise down to respect nearby neighbors.
- Please stay out of private yards.
- Be kind and polite to those around you.
- Do not come to the front of the property unless arrangements have been made.
- Please do not remove tables or totes.

Items you can donate or to be available when in need
All items should be clean, gently used, and in good condition.
- Food: Non-perishable and sealed items.
- Hygiene Products (new and sealed): Soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products.
- Baby Items: Diapers, wipes, blankets, clothing.
- Clothing & Essentials: Blankets, socks, coats, jackets, hats, gloves, new underwear, shoes, and other small necessities.
- Bedding: Sleeping bags or small bedding items.
